GT Dave, at 15 years old, was gifted a Mother SCOBY from the Himalayas in early 1993 (the foundation of bacteria and yeast to make kombucha) and wanted to explore its’ benefits more. He started brewing fizzy fermented tea, kombucha, in his parents’ house. With the family being believers in its health benefits, his family drank it daily, and his mother associates it with miraculously curing her breast cancer. Word quickly spread of kombucha, thus the foundation of GT Kombucha. With rapid growth in a short period of time, GT made it a point to never jeopardize quality for quantity. Still brewed in small batches today with lots of love, GT Kombucha is raw, organic, and naturally effervescent.
